UP-RERA’s Warning To All Promoters

UP-RERA has warned the promoters of all registered projects to file their updated quarterly progress report (QPRs) of their projects and the pending ones within 15 days on the authority's website. 

Sanjay Bhoosreddy, the chairman of UP-RERA, said that the authority has found that some promoters need to file their quarterly progress report on time, and some have filed their quarterly progress reports without filing the pending ones.  

He then mentioned that this was a complete violation of RERA and the violation of other relevant RERA Acts. In addition, the authority has allowed the promoters to file their pending QPRs and the QPRs for the October to December 2023 quarter by January 15, 2024.

The authority has modified the filing facility on the website to simplify the filings. Now, you can fill in the current QPRs only after filing the pending ones and the quarter ending on December 31, 2023, with the late fees.
