UP Authority Approves Plan for Noida’s Shortest Expressway

UP's Shortest Expressway To Be Built!

With the approval of the Noida Master Plan 2041, the UP government has passed a plan to develop a 16 km long expressway. This will be the shortest expressway in Uttar Pradesh, connecting Jewar Airport to the New Noida.

The expressway will be developed through a public-private partnership. This new expressway will improve connectivity between Jewar Airport and other districts of Uttar Pradesh.

An official from the authority mentioned that there are plans to link the airport with a railway line running from Rundhi to Chola. According to reports, the detailed project report (DPR) for this expressway has already been sent to the state government for approval.

Preparations are underway to build this expressway as outlined in the Noida Master Plan 2041. The expressway will have either 4 or 6 lanes, and one of its key features is that it will be constructed alongside the railway line from Jewar Airport to Chola. Following the approval of the Master Plan 2041, the process of acquiring land for this expressway has also begun.
