Uttar Pradesh real estate regulatory authority appointed retired IAS officer Sanjay Bhoosreddy as their next chairman.

Prior to it,Rajive Kumar was serving as the chairman of UP RERA from August 2018, he will set to retire in August 2023. Apart from it, another IAS Dimple Verma and additional chief secretary Ramesh Gokarn, principal secretary justice Pramod Kumar Srivastava were appointed as members of UP RERA. 

Prior to this selection applications from about 26 people were coming for the member committee and 23 people come for the post of president. Many former IAS officers applied for both of the posts some of them are RK Tiwari, Sanjay R. Sanjay Bhoosreddy, T Venkatesh, Dimple Verma, and Aradhana Shukla.

All the members who applied for the post were called and interviewed by the selection committee headed by justice manoj gupta, then the committee send its final recommendation to the chief minister's office.
