A new RRTS corridor from Rajiv Chowk in Gurugram via Faridabad to Sector 142 Noida and Surajpur in Greater Noida will be built soon.

A new Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor will soon be built to connect Gurugram and Greater Noida, helping reduce traffic jams and pollution in the National Capital Region (NCR). The 60-kilometer-long corridor will run from Rajiv Chowk in Gurugram to Sector-142 in Noida and Surajpur in Greater Noida.

It will benefit commercial projects such as Splendor Onyx And One FNG in sector 142 to appreciate further and get more footfall. 

It will also pass through Faridabad at Bata Chowk. The project will have eight stations along the route, and it is expected to cost around Rs 15,000 crore. Once finished, the RRTS will provide a faster and cleaner way to travel in the region.

Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini recently met Union Minister Manohar Lal in New Delhi to discuss the RRTS project and metro line expansions. They also talked about extending the RRTS between Delhi's Sarai Kale Khan and Karnal, as well as extending the Gurugram metro line to Badsa near AIIMS. Another plan is to connect Delhi Airport with important NCR areas like Gurugram, Faridabad, and the new Jewar Airport in Noida. This will make travel easier and improve connectivity across NCR.

Additionally, the Haryana government plans to extend the metro line from Gurugram’s Sector-56 to Panchgaon, with the Central Ministry expected to approve the plan soon.
