Noida Sector 42 will develop after 3 decades of wait

Around 30 years long battle will central employees cooperative housing society noida authority has finally won the battle to develop this residential sector of noida. In 1997 sector 42 land was divided between plots of 70 sq. m. and 350 sq. m.

This sector development has not been started because the members of the central employees cooperative housing society moved to Allahabad court to protect the land that they brought in chhalera banger village in the area.

 

In this case, a few parts of the land have been awarded to the housing society where flats of 1850 sq ft will be developed and given to the members and the rest of the land which is 137 acres given to the noida authority will be available for the development. 60 acres set aside for residential plots and 77 acres will be used for the development of green spaces, educational facilities, commercial setups, and other infrastructure. 

Supreme Court of India inspected the case and asked the authority to legally inspect the land which ruled the case in favor of housing society in September 2022. Which decision is ruled out in favor of society and directed authority to construct a housing and housing society on 60000 sq m of land which will be awarded to 844 members to fulfill their needs.

Noida authority under the development plan of 2031 wants sector 42 to be developed as an A+ category zones wherein allotment will start from 93000 sq m to 175000 sq m of land.
