An important meeting was recently held at the Noida Authority’s head office, led by CEO Dr. Lokesh M. The conference focused on reviewing the status of various departments, with particular attention given to vacant plots across Noida. The three Additional Chief Executive Officers, Sanjay Kumar Khatri, Vandana Tripathi, and Satish Pal, along with other senior officers, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, it was revealed that there are 1,190 vacant plots in Noida, spread across Work Circle 1 to 10. These plots include industrial, residential, commercial, group housing, institutional, and other types. The CEO instructed the concerned departments to check the current status of these plots and start planning how to use the unallocated ones.
Several major projects were also discussed. These projects include improving the crossing near NSEZ, widening the expressway from the DND flyover to Sector-18, beautifying the DSC road from the Botanical Garden to the Delhi border, redeveloping the Brahma Sarovar pond in village Gejha, and creating a new lake park in Sector-167.
Only after inspecting the sites will the NSEZ crossing and the DND-Sector 18 expressway projects be decided. The plan to build a 9-kilometre model road from the Botanical Garden to the Delhi border has been agreed upon.
The 1.75-acre pond in village Gejha will be transformed into the Brahma Sarovar. This redevelopment will include a walking path and green spaces. Additionally, the new lake park in Sector 167, which will cover 29.72 acres and feature a 4.70-acre lake, is being developed following orders from the National Green Tribunal. The CEO stated that these projects will significantly improve Noida and provide better facilities for its residents.
