New Link Road to Reduce 16 km Travel Between Noida & Greater Noida

A new road bridge project is underway to connect Noida and Greater Noida. The project will reduce the travel distance by 16 kilometers, making it easier for people to travel between the two cities. Construction began on February 8, 2025, and the project is expected to be completed by August 2025.

The total cost of the project is Rs 147 crore. The new road will link LG Chowk in Greater Noida to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. The bridge being built over Haranandi is 210 meters long and will cost Rs 62 crore to complete.

Once the project is finished, travelers will be able to travel from LG Chowk to the expressway in just 5 minutes, which was previously a 16 km longer route. The approach road will be 623 meters long and 45 meters wide. The road will have a height ranging from 5.50 meters to 8.50 meters.

This new road will help people traveling to areas like Pari Chowk, Sector Gamma, Beta, Industrial Area, and Ghaziabad. It will make commuting much faster and easier, benefiting many people in Noida and Greater Noida.

The project was first announced by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on January 25, 2019. The bridge and road construction are being managed by Noida and Greater Noida Authorities. The work is expected to be finished by August 2025.
