Manjhawali Bridge: Connects Greater Noida to Faridabad in 22 Mins, Work awaiting completion!

A wait of the whole decade is over for NCR people. Finally, Faridabad and Greater Noida are connected through the Manjhawali Bridge, but still, it is dangerous to travel through the bridge because of some pendencies in the construction work. It will not take much time to get fixed, and we will watch vehicles moving swiftly. 

The officials have said that it is too early to travel now; the work is still pending. In some places, there are unpaved roads that need to be paved, so travelling here is dangerous, but still, people have started travelling on the bridge.

The total distance From Manjhawali Bridge to Nit Faridabad is 24 kilometres. After the completion of the project, to cover Greater Noida to Faridabad distance wiil take only 20-22 minutes. Currently, Faridabad to Greater Noida travel time is 40 minutes as some work at the bridge is still under construction. But it is almost complete, and according to officials, the remaining work will be finished very soon.

Greater Noida to Faridabad Via Delhi Route

Apart from this, to cover the distance from greater Noida to Faridabad, one has to enter Delhi by covering a 53 kilometres stretch, and it used to take one and a half hours to cover this distance besides paying tolls at Badarpur border and facing immense traffic jams.

This new route will be; Greater Noida to Faridabad shortest route covering the whole Greater Noida to Faridabad distance in approximately 22 minutes. 

Is It Safe To Travel Through Manjhawali Bridge?

As per the reports from officials involved in the construction of the bridge, it is not advisable to travel through. The construction work is still undergoing, and it becomes more dangerous at night time because of huge traffic and the unavailability of street lights.

Manjahwali Bridge is expected to be completed by March 2025 and as soon as the bridge becomes fully operational, Manjhawali Bridge connectivity will become heaven for daily commutors for both the regions.
