FNG Expressway Gets Green Light from Haryana Government

Good news for many Delhi-NCR residents, the Haryana government has approved the Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad (FNG) Expressway. This approval, given on March 22, will improve travel between Faridabad, Noida, and Ghaziabad, making commutes easier and faster.

The FNG Expressway is a long-awaited project that was first proposed around 20 years ago. While Uttar Pradesh started the project, Haryana had delayed it until now. The new expressway will help reduce traffic jams and support the area's economic growth.

As part of the project, a 600-meter bridge will be built over the Yamuna River near Lalpur village. The cost of this bridge will be shared equally between Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. This will improve travel between the two states.

Currently, there is no direct route connecting Faridabad with Uttar Pradesh. People traveling between these areas often have to go through Delhi’s Kalindi Kunj, causing delays. The FNG Expressway will fix this by creating the first direct link between Faridabad and Uttar Pradesh.

Each day, more than 100,000 people travel between Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and Noida for work and personal reasons. The FNG Expressway will save time and make commuting much easier for them.
