Effortless Travel: Ghaziabad-Noida to Jewar Airport with Rapid Rail
Making Travel Easy: Ghaziabad-Noida to Jewar Airport with Rapid Rail
The RRTS cum metro corridor from Ghaziabad Via Noida to Jewar Airport has been proposed by NCRTC. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has stated that the NCRTC has submitted a comprehensive report on the Rapid Rail Project connecting Ghaziabad-Noida-Jewar Airport with the rest of Delhi/NCR cities.
The project will be 72.3 km long, and this RRTS corridor is expected to be completed by 2030. This will be an integrated metro and rapid rail project. Once the fast rail project is completed, it will only take 32 minutes from Ghaziabad to Noida airport for the rapid rail service and 50 minutes for the standard service.
Additionally, there will be certain extra benefits available to daily commuters. For example, it will take passengers only 56 minutes to get from NIA to Sarai Kale Khan. It will take 66 minutes for them to get to the IGI airport and 72 minutes to go to Meerut.

There will be two phases of this corridor.
The first section will be from Ghaziabad RRTC Station to Ecotech VI near Kasna. The second section will be from Ecotech VI to the Ground Transport Centre of Noida Airport. Twenty-two stations will be developed per the first draft, but there is a provision to add 11 more stations as needed.
There are plans to add three more stations to this line's first 39.4 km stretch, which will have eleven metro stations and seven RRTC stations. There will initially be four RRTC stations along this circuit's second 32.9-kilometre stretch. Ten stations, including nine metro stations and one RRTC station, could be added later in this segment, nevertheless.
Phase II ( Expected Completion By 2040)
A 35.1 km corridor from Ecotech VI to Noida Airport
This segment will feature stations at Pari Chowk, Ecotech VI, Dankaur, YEIDA North (Sector 18), YEIDA Central (Sectors 21 and 35), and NIA GTC (Ground Transportation Centre). The "Rapid Rail Trains" will halt only at RRTC Stations, whereas the Metro Train will halt at all the stations mentioned above.
However, the officials said that the work on both sections would be done simultaneously. This construction, however, is estimated to cost approximately INR 17,343 crore. The Central Government will have a twenty percent participation in this, the State Governments fifty percent, and NAEL thirty percent apiece.
The poll predicts that 3.09 lakh passengers will travel this route in 2031 and 7.04 lakh in 2055–2056. NCRTC will handle the metro and quick rail service between Ghaziabad and Noida Airport.
Impact of Rapid Rail Corridor on Noida’s Real Estate
The proposed Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS) connecting Ghaziabad to Noida and Jewar Airport is poised to impact Noida's real estate market significantly. This ambitious infrastructure project promises to revolutionise connectivity within the National Capital Region (NCR), reducing travel times between Ghaziabad and Noida Airport to 32 minutes.
Such enhanced connectivity is expected to stimulate demand for residential and commercial properties along the RRTS route, as convenient access to major employment hubs and airports becomes a key factor for homebuyers and investors.
Areas near RRTS stations will likely witness rapid urban development, promoting transit-oriented communities with improved amenities and infrastructure. This anticipated growth is set to drive up property prices, offering substantial opportunities for real estate appreciation in Noida, similar to the economic benefits of the Jewar Airport development.
